This year’s Judges’ Award for Excellence went to Fraser Brown Mackenna Architects for “Regent Place”. The project also took home a second trophy for Apartment Development of the Year.
Mole Architects’ “Dovehouse Court Almshouses” won in two categories: Sustainable Project of the Year and Later Living/Supported Living Design of the Year.
Bell Phillips has been crowned Architect of the Year. Their project “Cosway Street” picked up a second trophy for Development of the Year (20 to 100 Homes).
Hawkins\Brown also took home two awards: Homebuilder of the Year and Best Community Living, for “Burridge Gardens Phase 2”.
Interior Designer of the Year went to Bradley Van Der Straeten Architects, along with an award for Best Interior Design: Individual Home (more than £500,000).
“Birch Grove” by Millbank Homes also won two gongs for Development of the Year (up to 20 Homes) and Development Transformation of the Year.
The British Homes Awards welcomed the great and the good of the industry at a lunchtime ceremony on Thursday 12 September, awarding the best homes, schemes, phases of schemes and teams across the UK.
The event praised entries from architects, designers, homebuilders and more. This year’s judging panel was chaired up by Félicie Krikler, director of Assael Architecture.
