Rowan Cole

Rowan Cole is a communications and engagement specialist who focuses on the built environment. Rowan established Coalface Engagement in 2018 with the goal of incorporating communities and decision-makers into the planning process alongside developers in order to build communities where people want to live and work. Rowan is also an Associate Director at Coverdale Barclay whose projects span new and evolving neighbourhoods, city and town centre regeneration and culture-led transformations. Having worked on some of the most interesting and high-profile development projects in the UK Rowan firmly believes in the transformative potential of community co-design in creating high-quality homes for the future.
