Phil Catcheside

Phil is a Partner and Residential Sector Lead at Hawkins Brown. He is an Architect and a Certified Passivhaus Designer. He has extensive experience on award winning residential projects of varying scales and tenures. Phil is an Islington Design Review Panel member.

What are you most looking forward to about judging this year's British Homes Awards and, as a judge, what are you looking for in the work? 

I'm looking forward to seeing not only the variety of submissions that the British Homes Awards attract, but to see some great examples of innovative solutions and design. For me, sustainability is the driving factor behind everything we do here, so I'm looking forward to seeing how embodied sustainability is within this year's submissions.
