ST SYLVESTER'S

St Sylvester’s is a one of a kind conversion project forming 42 student bedrooms in central Liverpool. First built in 1889, converted some 130 years later to an ultra-modern, luxury spacious yet intimate student complex. The main complexity in this project was dealing with the height, constructing 5 stories of accommodation by hand as machines and cranes could not be used inside the building. The steel frame construction was delivered and erected all by hand, creating a layout that we believe to be unique within the student market in the northwest.

The complex has been designed around amazing communal facilities, including a small coffee bar in the entrance, cinema room, yoga studio, and gym. These facilities are shared by only 42 students, making the experience of living at St Sylvester’s.

As you enter the building you are greeted by a bespoke lighting wall where students can pose on their way out for a night out in Liverpool. On the way out of the building you will see the green roof area installed on the flat roof sections that were originally the confessionals.

This project is the perfect mix of history and modernity. 16,000 sq ft of luxurious student accommodation, wrapped around 130 years of history. We think it’s the definition of beautiful, small scale luxury.
