Highfield House
Design4
Design4 Ltd was formed as a development company to undertake it's first project in the demolition and re development of 'Highfield House' in Durham to four modern ICF built houses.
A modern take on Japanese architecture was sought for the external design theme as the Teikyo University of Japan in Durham and Oriental Meuseum are within stone throw. Featuring floor-to-ceiling glazing, and Tata steel cladding all properties having five bedrooms. A gated entrance provides seclusion and privacy within this mature, tree-lined site, and all homes come with good-sized gardens. It's hard to believe that the historic castle and cathedral complex are within walking distance.
